Trinidad

In 2010 I won the Don Eckelberry Scholarship Award from the Society of Animal Artists. I could spend 10 days in the Asa Wright Nature Center on Trinidad. I’ve also visited my friend, Gerard Ramsawak of the Pax Guesthouse, whom I met years ago at the Birdfair in the UK. I’ve spent all my time sketching, it was an increadible experience being in the rainforest for the first time in my life, seeing Hummingbirds, Toucans. I could also see a bird I knew even as a child from books, the unique Oilbird.
