Scotland
I have exhibited in the headquarters of the Scottish Ornithologists’ Club in Aberlady with my friend, Jonathan Latimer twice. On both occasions we’ve added a short study trip travelling to various parts of Scotland. In 2011 we’ve visited fellow local artist, Keith Brockie in Aberfeldy. He showed us some great Black Grouse leks, where we could study the birds really close.
In 2014 we went to the estuary of the Ythan River to see the male King Eider turning up there every year. Then we travelled north, crossing to the Handa Island, where I had my first ever Great Skuas. Ending the trip at scenic lakes with breeding Slavonian Grebes
